Sport

Sport is an integral part of the curriculum and all learners are encouraged to participate. Teams play in the appropriate leagues and full recognition is given to those sports which are not offered at the school. Opportunities for large team sports are limited by numbers. Individual sports are also offered and we enter the appropriate leagues in the Southern Suburbs.

Sport is a good opportunity for our learners to socialise and to develop a sense of team camaraderie.

At Prep School level our children are expected to participate in at least two such activities a week. These can be of a sporting or cultural nature. Sports offered include Cricket, Swimming, Hockey, Soccer, Squash, Tennis, Table Tennis, Cross-Country and Athletics. From Grade R to Grade 2 children have an opportunity to participate in optional extras in the afternoon, such as Mini-tennis, Playball and Judo.

At High School level, our learners can participate in Cricket, Soccer, Tennis, Table Tennis, Swimming, Badminton, Chess, Debating, Softball and Hockey.
